Professional Development Reimbursements cover eligible expenses for SELS member library staff to attend conferences or other professional development opportunities. Reimbursement Applications MUST be submitted prior to an event.* If approved, reimbursement will be issued following the event and is contingent on the submission of the reimbursement form and all supporting documentation.

PD Reimbursements will be awarded on...

• a case-by-case basis

• the relevance of the event for which you have applied

• the amount requested

• the number of other applications received

• the amount remaining in the budget for reimbursements for the current fiscal yeat

• the amount of recent professional development reimbursement provided to staff at your library

*Note: Please apply for reimbursement in the Fiscal Year that the event occurs (the FY runs from July 1 to June 30). For example, if the event occurs in September, please wait until July 1 to apply.
