Professional Development Reimbursements cover eligible expenses for SELS member library staff to attend conferences or other professional development opportunities. Reimbursement Applications MUST be submitted prior to an event.* If approved, reimbursement will be issued following the event and is contingent on the submission of the reimbursement form and all supporting documentation.
PLEASE NOTE: ITEMIZED FOOD RECEIPTS ARE REQUIRED!!! We cannot reimburse for meals without an itemized receipt!!!!

a case-by-case basis
the relevance of the event for which you have applied
the amount requested
the number of other applications received
the amount remaining in the budget for reimbursements for the current fiscal yeat
the amount of recent professional development reimbursement provided to staff at your library
*Note: Please apply for reimbursement in the Fiscal Year that the event occurs (the FY runs from July 1 to June 30). For example, if the event occurs in September, please wait until July 1 to apply.
