To encourage sharing materials throughout the region, SELCO issues an ILL Dividend in July/August each year. Using the preceding calendar year's lending/borrowing stats, any library that is a net lender (borrowed more out to patrons from other libraries than its own patrons borrowed from other libraries) will receive an ILL Dividend.

SELCO pays the annual platform fee for OverDrive. The SELCO Advisory Committee votes on an overall content contribution amount, which is then assessed to individual libraries, using a usage-based formula. This formula uses city population and a 5-year average of OverDrive circulation. Libraries may choose to make supplemental contributions to grow the regional collection.
